The purpose of the multi-year agreement is to create the conditions for close cooperation between the parties, whereby jointly developing operations, the conditions are created for cost-effective and high-quality terminal and port services in Mussalo and Vuosaari.

The service provided by Rauanheimo is a total service, including all functions related to warehousing and port logistics in the terminal area and in the port. A key part of the service is the high-quality IT, data transfer and reporting solutions required by traffic.

Rauanheimo is a logistics company specializing in high-quality, versatile, and reliable port and terminal services production, with the ability to comprehensively provide the logistics services required for business operations.

“Through a systematic selection process, the company chosen to handle Keitele Group’s container volumes as a port operator is one that offers a high-quality and well-suited infrastructure, as well as a wide range of logistic service functions. We expect from the cooperation starting on January 1, 2024, not only a reliable, high-quality, and flexible service, but also the ability to respond to the service needs brought by growing volumes in the future. In addition to the points mentioned above, we will also emphasize Rauanheimo’s environmental performance and responsibility issues,” says Keitele Group Supply Chain Director Matti Alanen.

Rauanheimo’s CEO Tero Kosonen is very satisfied with the signing of the contract. “I thank Keitele for their solid trust in our operations and I look forward to long-term cooperation and the continuous joint development it enables. Rauanheimo will pay special attention to reducing the carbon dioxide emissions of its operations during the contract period.”
