The Finnish Transit Transport Association has had an active first year

The Finnish Transit Transport Association had their fall meeting 5.12.2019. The team has taken action during this year and it was noted that there has been progress. The associations operating plan and goals were set for 2020. In order to develop transit traffic, it will take actions and investments from the government. The most important ways to increase the competitiveness of the Finnish route is to invest in railway infrastructure and make the shipping regulations more flexible.

During the meeting it was decided that the current board members remain on the board. Joakim Laxåback was elected Chairman of the Board and Larisa Lisitsyn and Sami Korpela were elected Vice Chairmen.
