Tahkoluoto, part of the Port of Pori, is with its 15 metres one of the deepest ports in Finland. The port is ideally located close to a main fairway and is easily accessible all year round, as Tahkoluoto’s ice conditions are rarely difficult.

Thanks to the port’s depth, Cape size vessels can easily enter Tahkoluoto. The port also has a railway connection, making it well-suited for transit traffic.

Rauanheimo in Tahkoluoto Deep-water Harbour

Rauanheimo has operated in Tahkoluoto since February 2018 and has since then invested heavily in the port. In the fall of 2020, a new large terminal is opened, which is suited for large flows of bulk goods.

With covered conveyors, the terminal makes it possible to handle flows of goods in an environmentally friendly and dust-free manner. The new terminal also makes handling more efficient, faster and safer.

Please contact our sister company Adolf Lahti for any operative questions you may have regarding the port of Tahkoluoto. You can find their contact information here.
